On October 27, the Department of Performing Arts and the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) had a working session, requesting strict handling of the situation of artists with deviant songs and offensive words in the recent past.
Director of the Department of Performing Arts Nguyen Xuan Bac said: There are artists performing songs outside the licensed list, not complying with the regulations of competent authorities. The Department has requested relevant units to review and report specifically to have a direction for strict handling".

At the meeting, Mr. Le Quang Tu Do - Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information said that the two units exchanged information and agreed on views on the case of handling violations in cyberspace.
The Ministry's viewpoint is very clear: We must strictly rectify and restore order in cyberspace, especially cross-border platforms, to avoid causing negative impacts on the community, especially the young. Artists are a group with great influence, so they need to be more aware and exemplary in their speech and actions, said Mr. Le Quang Tu Do.
The representative of the management agency pointed out that there are currently some songs that violate regulations on content, containing offensive and uncultured language. At the same time, some performance organizers showed signs of resistance and lack of cooperation when asked for explanations.
On the artist's side, the management team counter- controversy with the word " misunderstanding".
During the meeting, Director Le Quang Tu Do pointed out the name of Jack's (Trinh Tran Phuong Tuan) song. The unnamed song that Jack performed at an event on October 16 in Hanoi was confirmed to contain offensive lines.
Previously, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee issued Official Letter No. 69-CV/BTGDVTU, proposing to orient and rectify music activities that are off cultural standards.
In the issued content, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee stated that many singers spread uncivilized songs, promoted banned substances, and vulgar words...
Some cases are pointed out: Jack (Never), Phao (Soc Chuyen Chong), rapper Gducky (mien mong mi); Andree (Kheo), Bray - Dat G (Caooc 207), HIEUTHUHAI (Trinh)...

Notably, Jack's case caused controversy when performing a new song at a music night in Hanoi. The lyrics express a very large ego, somewhat arrogant. Some lyrics are even considered offensive and vulgar.
The audience believes that the Vietnamese music market is changing, with many products of high cultural and valuable significance. Therefore, artists need to learn the good and the beautiful, improve the quality of their works to suit the needs and aesthetics of domestic and foreign audiences.
