"Minari" is an autobiography that tells the story of the growing up of a character named Chung, a member of a Korean family who immandered to the US in the 80s. In the film directed by Lee Isaac Chung, one of the main characters of one year's Eve plays one grandmother from Korea who comes to the US to take care of her two grandchildren and send them to work.
Actress Youn Yuh-jung joined the Korean entertainment industry in the 60s of the last century, quitting acting for a while before returning in the 80s.
