On June 12, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa said that the organization of the 2026 High School Graduation Exam in the area continues to take place safely and seriously.
However, in the morning exam session of the same day, there were 3 cases of violations of exam regulations.
At the Tran Hung Dao High School exam site (Dong Hai ward), during the first exam session, invigilators discovered 2 candidates using phones while taking the exam. Both cases were recorded and suspended from the exam according to regulations.
At the Hoang Van Thu exam site - campus 2, a freelance candidate was also discovered using a phone in the exam room in the first exam session. This candidate was suspended from the exam immediately afterwards.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, bringing and using phones or information receiving and transmitting devices in the exam room is a serious violation, leading to suspension of the exam.
Previously, on the exam day of June 11, at the exam site of Dang Chi Thanh Secondary and High School, a candidate on the way to take the Math exam unfortunately had a traffic accident, broke his arm and had to be hospitalized for treatment.
Because he could not continue to participate in the exam, the head of the exam site requested functional agencies to consider special graduation according to current regulations.
Also on June 11, at the Thai Nguyen exam site, a candidate of Le Thanh Ton High School suddenly fainted in front of the school gate right before the procedures to enter the exam room. The candidate was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment and the head of the exam site proposed considering special graduation.
According to statistics from the Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, in the morning exam session of June 12, the first exam session had 21,747 candidates taking the exam, 121 candidates absent; the second exam session had 21,831 candidates taking the exam, 154 candidates absent. The invigilation work at exam sites in the area was deployed in accordance with regulations, ensuring safety and seriousness.
