On the evening of July 22, leaders of Thu Dau Mot Ward People's Committee (HCMC) confirmed that the ward had sent an official letter to 4 neighboring wards and communes regarding the enrollment for the first grade for grades 1 and 6.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot ward has sent an official letter to the People's Committees of Phu Loi ward, Chanh Hiep ward, Thuan An ward and Binh My commune regarding the reception of 1st and 6th grade students.
Thu Dau Mot Ward People's Committee said that, according to statistics, currently in the ward, there are 6 schools that can still admit additional 1st and 6th grade students with a total number of 320 students.
In which, Chanh My Primary School received 50 students, Nguyen Du Primary School received 30 students, Nguyen Trai Primary School received 40 students, Chanh Nghia Secondary School received 40 students, Nguyen Van Cu Secondary School received 110 students, Phu Cuong Secondary School received 20 students.
Thu Dau Mot Ward People's Committee requests adjacent wards and communes to consider if parents of students have a need to study at the above-mentioned schools, then make a list to transfer data to Thu Dau Mot Ward for consideration and resolution.
According to records, Thu Dau Mot ward is in the old central area of Binh Duong province. This area has few factories, few workers, so there is no pressure about schools. Meanwhile, in other areas, where many workers are concentrated, the arrangement and zoning of first-grade students is under a lot of pressure.
