In 2023, the lowest admission score for the Politics Officer School was 19.55 for the A00 group and the highest score was 27.62 for the C00 group for male students in the North.
For the C00 group, students in the South must achieve a score of 26.27 and have a Literature score of 9.25 or higher to meet the admission requirements.
Previously, admission scores for the school in 2022 ranged from 22.1 to 28.5 points. The highest score was 28.5 points for the C00 group for male students in the North. The school required an additional criterion of 8.75 points or higher in Literature and 9.25 points or higher in History.
In 2021, admission scores ranged from 23 to 28.5 points. For the C00 group, male students in the North scored 28.5 points, while students in the South scored 27 points.
In 2020, admission scores ranged from 23.25 to 28.5 points (depending on the examination method). The highest admission score was 28.5 points, applied to male students in the North who took the C00 group.

In 2024, the Politics Officer School will recruit 746 students for its undergraduate military training program and 18 students for its program at a university outside the military.
The school will recruit and train officers at the division level with undergraduate degrees in the following fields: Party and State Administration; National Defense and Security Education; Politics;
and specialized fields for social science and humanities teachers: Philosophy; Political Economy; Marxist-Leninist Theory; History; Psychology; Education.
