The Ministry of Education and Training on the evening of August 12 said that, in addition to the inspection teams for exam work according to regulations, Standing Deputy Minister of Education and Training (MOET) Pham Ngoc Thuong, Head of the National Steering Committee for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam, has just signed a Decision to establish a Supervisory Team of the National Steering Committee for the re-exam organization (teaching and grading) for candidates at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site.
The supervisory delegation includes 5 members, led by a leader of the Department of Quality Management, a member of the National Steering Committee for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam, as Head of the delegation. The delegation will perform tasks from August 13, 2026 to the end of August 15, 2026 for exam supervision and from August 16, 2026 to the end of August 18, 2026 for grading.
The delegation has the task of assisting the National Steering Committee in monitoring and supervising the entire re-exam organization process at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School Exam Site. The delegation works independently, under the direct direction of the Head of the National Steering Committee for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam.
The delegation coordinates with the Provincial-level Exam Steering Committee, the Exam Council and inspection delegations in grasping the organizational situation of the Exam; promptly reporting and proposing to the Head of the National-level Exam Steering Committee to direct on arising issues; performing other tasks according to directions and reporting on task performance results.
The Head of the Supervisory Delegation decides on the method, location and content of supervision in accordance with the actual developments of the Exam. The Delegation is allowed to work directly with the Provincial-level Exam Steering Committee, the Exam Council, the Boards of the Exam Council and relevant organizations and individuals; is allowed to access information, records, documents and areas for organizing exam supervision and marking necessary to perform supervisory tasks according to regulations.
The activities of the Supervisory Delegation do not replace the tasks and responsibilities of the Provincial-level Exam Steering Committee, the Exam Council and the Inspection Delegations; do not replace the tasks of organizations and individuals directly organizing the Exam. The Provincial-level Exam Steering Committee, Tuyen Quang Provincial Exam Council, Tuyen Quang Provincial Department of Education and Training, inspection delegations and relevant agencies and units are responsible for coordinating, providing information and creating conditions for the Supervisory Delegation to complete its tasks.
Previously, on August 4, 2026, the Minister of Education and Training issued Decision No. 2288/QD-BGDDT on canceling the results of the 2026 High School Graduation Exam on June 11 and 12, 2026 and re-organizing the 2026 High School Graduation Exam for candidates who took the exam at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School Exam Site. The re-exam will be held on August 14 and 15, 2026; the exam results will be announced on August 19, 2026.
