On the morning of July 21, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) sent an official dispatch to departments of education and training requesting urgent review and update of university admission data on the common admission support system to ensure accurate admission results in 2026.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that it has discovered some shortcomings in the data of transcripts, registration forms, priority certificates and foreign language certificates... when reviewing data on the enrollment system.
The inspection process showed that the enrollment data of some candidates still had many errors such as high school transcript information, registration forms, priority evidence, foreign language certificates and priority area data. If not handled promptly, these errors may directly affect the admission results.
The Ministry requires the dossier receiving points to review four main contents including: Foreign language subject information, foreign language subject 2 in the transcript; ensuring all approved registration forms; checking and confirming priority proof and foreign language certificates; reviewing priority area data of candidates.
The entire work mentioned above must be completed before 5:00 PM on July 24. In addition, the Ministry also requested localities to update the exam results of candidates who were disciplined for changing exam scores, and summarize cases of adjusting aspirations after re-examination if exam scores change. At the same time, promptly receive and resolve petitions related to enrollment, without delays or omissions.
Absolutely do not delay or miss candidates' letters" - the Ministry's official dispatch stated.
Statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training show that there are currently 125,056 cases nationwide that have not been approved for certification, 28,604 cases with foreign language scores but no foreign language subject codes, 7,475 cases with foreign language score 2 but lack subject codes, and 3,114 cases with subject codes but no foreign language scores.
In addition, there are still 371 registration forms waiting for approval or incorrect information and 2,616 cases needing to be reviewed for priority areas.
The Ministry of Education and Training reminds candidates to proactively monitor enrollment information, check personal data on the system and immediately contact the application receiving point or department if errors are detected to be processed before the deadline, avoiding affecting their admission rights.
According to the plan, universities will organize admissions and process aspirations from August 4 to 9 with 6 virtual filtering sessions. After that, schools will review to announce the benchmark scores after 5 pm on August 10.
