tuyet doi 10 points for both Math and Geography
In recent days, there have been many bright examples in studying, achieving high scores in the 2025 high school graduation exam. Among them, little student Ho Vi Quoc (born in 2007) studying in class 12A9 at Chu Van An High School (Phu Tan commune, An Giang province) left a particularly deep impression not only because of his valedictorian results but also because of his filial piety.
Sharing with Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Quoc said: in the recent exam, his score was Math 10, Geography 10, Literature 9, English 8.5, with a total score of 37.5 being the valedictorian of the province. The highest block is C04 (Math, Literature, Geography) with a total of 29 points, which are Head of the National Department.
Quoc selected to consider the D01, D15, C04 blocks, aspiration 1 to enter the Multimedia communication major of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City.
This is the major that my mother oriented, and at the same time, I also found it suitable for my personality and education, Quoc said.
In the subjects, Quoc likes and is also the best at Geography. From a young age, the student had an inexorable passion for this subject. Quoc shared that in terms of good learning methods, the important thing is to grasp the foundation, be theoretical, and understand the nature of geographical objects.
To study the subjects well, Quoc determines which subjects are strong, which subjects are not good, divides specific and appropriate time to study for each subject, not leaving too much difference between subjects.

Talking about the recent language test, Quoc confided: In the Literature test, I was quite interested in the citation and expansion section. I have cited singer Phuong My Chi, about her smooth combination of many traditional music genres from the North to the South in contemporary music, combining very delicately and quite well with regions. I also mentioned the current situation of administrative unit arrangement in our country to clarify the problem that the homeland is not just one place".
Currently, Quoc hopes to pass the university entrance exam and have time to improve many skills and foreign languages.
A filial little boy wants to continue writing his dream instead of his mother
Quoc said that he is currently living with his grandparents in Cho Moi commune, An Giang province. His grandparents are also old, selling vegetables and fish in a market near their home, and their income is quite limited. His parents work in Ho Chi Minh City, mainly selling vegetables and fish in industrial parks and intersections near boarding houses. Quoc also has an older sister who will be in 6th grade next year.
"My motivation for my efforts is my family. I want to study well so that I can help and take care of my family in the future. And most importantly, my mother and I study very well, but because of unfinished learning circumstances, I want to continue writing my mother's dreams and unfinished pages of books," Quoc emotionally confided.
Quoc said that he studied more than Math, and the rest he watched many teachers teach him lectures and share documents on social networks. In addition to studying, Quoc also has the hobby of listening to music, drawing, singing, making poetry, taking landscape photos and traveling.
When asked if he had difficulty in studying or how he would handle life, the little student confided that he would of course be a little confused and worried., but then he would try to calm down and think about how to solve it, or take a break, refresh his energy instead of just sitting in fear.
After receiving the exam results, Quoc confided that he felt relieved. Quoc was also somewhat surprised because before the exam he did not set a goal of getting so high in Math scores, and also somewhat regretted that his English score did not reach the target of over 9 points.
However, with this result, Quoc has also found great joy in his efforts to study over the years. I am very grateful to my family, friends, and teachers who have always loved and supported me to have what I have today. The future is still long, there will be difficulties and challenges, this is just the beginning for me to continue to confidently walk on the path I have chosen, Quoc shared.
