On July 14, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) said that after the test to issue a driver's license meets the requirements, on the personal National Identification Application (VNeID) (according to the declared personal identification code), people will receive a notification message and a request to update driver's license information.
At that time, people will update information as required with the condition that the citizen identification number is the same as the identification number when registering for the exam and installing VNeID level 2.
However, there are also cases where the VNeID electronic identification account has not displayed driver's license information data after 3 days of the test taker having completed the declaration procedures.
The Traffic Police Department initially determined that the cause of the above situation was due to overloaded transmission lines, data synchronization between systems had to go through many steps leading to slowness; individuals declared one of the information contents incorrectly; individuals did not open messages and request updates on VNeID.
The Traffic Police Department has coordinated with technical units to fix and optimize the transmission line, ensuring quick updates (implemented from July 14).
Therefore, individuals who have successfully tested but have not seen the driver's license information updated on VNeID, need to access VNeID to update information related to their driver's license.
Currently, in addition to using an account on VNeID, traffic participants can exploit data on the electronic information page about the driver's license (https://gplx.csgt.bocongan.gov.vn) or the VneTraffic application to present a driver's license when the authorities check.
The information on the electronic identification application, the electronic information page about the driver's license and the VneTraffic application is equivalent to a physical driver's license.
Patrol and control forces use data on electronic identification applications, electronic information pages on driving licenses or applications of the traffic police force to check, control and handle violations.
The Traffic Police Department also recommends that people absolutely do not listen to instructions from their phones or access strange links because they are easily scammed by scammers.
The police agency only works directly (in specific cases, there will be a document sent by post or through the commune-level police where the individual resides), not working by phone, video call, not activating the link.
When encountering difficulties or problems with road motor vehicle testing and renewal, people can contact the Traffic Police Department of the province or city where they reside or the Traffic Police Department at email: phongquanlygplx@gmail.com.
Regarding updating driver's license information to VNeID, the Traffic Police Department said that individuals' VNeID accounts must be authenticated at level 2.
When receiving a message from VNeID about the driver's license, people open the application (for cases where they have not received the message, they still open VNeID, because the individual may be able to set up to refuse to notify the message), then go to the notification section of the State agency to read the message.
If the message is related to the driver's license, confirm the information (driver's license number, driver's license class) and follow the instructions.
The individual's driving license will be provided by the Testing Center after passing the exam or can access the Driving License Electronic Information Page (https://gplx.csgt.bocongan.gov.vn) to look up and grasp.
