In case a general education teacher has a bachelor's degree in a suitable major and a pedagogical intermediate or pedagogical college degree, or in case a general education teacher has a bachelor's degree in a suitable major and a pedagogical professional certificate issued by training and fostering institutions before May 22, 2021, it is determined that they have a bachelor's degree in a suitable major and a pedagogical professional development certificate of the level of education being taught according to the program issued by the Minister of Education and Training".
According to the above regulations, in the case of Mr. Nguyen Dang Long, who is currently an English teacher at the secondary school level, if he has a bachelor's degree in English Language and a pedagogical professional certificate issued by training and fostering institutions in 2018, he is determined to have a suitable bachelor's degree and a pedagogical professional development certificate from the secondary school level.
However, he has now quit his job, if he needs to take the civil servant exam for secondary school teachers, he needs to meet the standards and conditions as required by the competent recruiting agency.
