Da Nang College (new) was established on the basis of merging the original College of Culture and Arts and Da Nang Vocational College. Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong attended and presented the decisions.
According to Decision No. 1867/QD-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training, the merger of two schools into a single unit with the new name of Da Nang College aims to streamline the apparatus, focus resources on investment, and improve training quality. Along with the decision to establish, the City People's Committee also announced the decision to appoint 1 principal and 4 vice principals to lead the school in the new period. Mr. Ho Viet Ha, Principal of Da Nang Vocational College, was appointed Principal of Da Nang College.
Speaking at the assignment, Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong emphasized that this merger will open a new chapter, combining the strength of technical training, technology with culture and art, bringing more career options to learners. He suggested that the new board of directors quickly stabilize the organization and build a strong unity bloc.
The Vice President also requested the school to promote the application of science and technology in teaching, strengthen training linkages, and international cooperation to access advanced vocational standards. At the same time, the school needs to closely connect with departments and branches to orient training, provide high-quality human resources, and directly meet the requirements of socio-economic development of the city and the whole country.
