Famous Taiwanese billiards player Chang Jung-lin suddenly passed away while resting at a hotel.

At the time of the incident, he was participating in the 2025 Indonesia International Open.

Just a few hours before, Chang Jung-lin was still playing and won 2-0 against opponent Tommy to qualify for the Last 32 round. After the match, he returned to the hotel to rest and passed away.

Chang Jung-lin was born in 1985, and has been one of the world's leading billiards players for many years.

He once held the No. 1 position on the World Professional Billiards Association (WPA) rankings and won many international titles, including the World Eight-ball Championship in 2012, the silver medal in the Nine-ball event at the 2013 World Games, and recent titles such as the Asian 10-Ball Championship 2024 and Apex Mixed Doubles 2024,...
