The 2025 high school graduation exam takes place over 2 days, June 26 - 27, with 1.17 million candidates taking the exam.
This year's exam is the first time the exam has been applied in parallel to two educational programs. Candidates in the 2018 General Education Program will take four exams, including two compulsory subjects, Math and Literature, and two elective subjects from the subjects they have studied.
Candidates studying under the 2006 Program will take three compulsory exams including Math, Literature and Foreign Language, and choose one of two combined exams: Natural Science or Social Science.
To facilitate the process of reviewing candidates' exam scores, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has prepared information technology infrastructure and plans to announce exam scores to avoid network congestion; ready to support candidates to change their wishes to register for university and college admission after the exam results.
The Ministry of Education and Training has requested localities to enter exam scores data into the Ministry of Education and Training's information portal. At the same time, enter the exam score data into the exam score lookup page built by the Department of Education and Training of localities.
Both the Ministry of Education and Training and localities will announce the exam scores at the same time. Candidates can look up the exam scores on the Ministry's system or the electronic information portal of the Department of Education and Training where the candidate registered for the exam.
In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training also coordinates with press agencies to announce exam scores. The Ministry will provide data, while press agencies will build a platform to look up exam scores according to the registration number, ensuring that candidates' personal information is confidential.
