In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics will enroll students according to 5 admission methods, a reduction of 1 method compared to the previous year.

On February 14, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics announced enrollment information for 2025.

Accordingly, this year the school admitted 7,980 students (an increase of 80 students compared to 2024), corresponding to 59 study program options in Ho Chi Minh City (KSA school code) and 600 students, 15 study programs in Vinh Long (UEH Mekong, KSV school code).

In which there are 3 new majors including: Data Analysis, Business and Environment Sustainability Management, International Human Resources Training Program for Finance - Banking.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics said that admission is based on 5 methods (reduced by 1 method compared to previous years) and 6 subject combinations, focusing on the group of students with good academic achievements, excellent academic performance, possessing English certificates or excellent student awards in the province/city.

Method 1: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Method 2: Admitting candidates who have graduated from foreign high school programs and have an international certificate, quota 2%.

Method 3: Admit candidates with good academic results, target of 40%-50%.

Method 4: Admission based on the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam (KSA, KSV), the results of the V-SAT exam (only applicable to students and organized by Can Tho University in 2025) combined with international English proficiency, targeting 10-20%.

Method 5: Admission based on high school graduation exam results, remaining quota.
