On January 15, 2025, the forum attracted and gathered many delegates, guests and speakers who are leading experts in the field of semiconductor technology, microelectronics at home and abroad; Business leaders from the US, Taiwan, Singapore, along with research institutes and government agencies.
Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Principal of the University expressed: "I hope that this forum will become an annual activity to promote cooperation between Vietnam and the international community in the semiconductor industry, as well as contribute to making Vietnam an important link in the global semiconductor supply chain."
Through this event, the school hopes to facilitate connections between government agencies, universities, research institutes, companies, corporations and organizations from Vietnam, Taiwan as well as the international community in the semiconductor industry to improve the quality of human resources serving the development of the semiconductor industry in Vietnam.

The two main topics were Overview of the Semiconductor, Microelectronics, Data Center, Cloud Computing and AI Industry and Promoting the Development of a Robust Semiconductor Ecosystem. Speakers participating in the forum provided useful information, updating the development of the global semiconductor industry, new trends in chip design and manufacturing, as well as the impact of semiconductors on other fields such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and automation.
The forum also discussed solutions for training and developing high-quality human resources for the semiconductor industry, especially in Vietnam. The speakers are famous experts in the field of semiconductor technology, coming from leading companies, universities and major research institutes.

Experts have particularly emphasized the importance of training highly qualified human resources in the semiconductor and microelectronics industries to meet the growing needs of the high-tech industry in Vietnam.
Building specialized training programs and international cooperation will be decisive factors for Vietnam to develop a high-quality workforce, ready to participate in the global semiconductor supply chain and promote the sustainable development of this industry in the country, while seeking effective cooperation methods to enhance Vietnam's position on the world technology map.
