On December 4, Ton Duc Thang University opened the Hanoi Institute of Advanced Technology (IAST) Office. The event marked a new step of the University in expanding research activities and training high-quality human resources nationwide.
The Office of the Advanced Technology Institute in Hanoi is a place that gathers scientists and researchers from the Northern provinces to work in scientific fields such as Advanced Materials Chemistry, Smart Materials and Advanced Structures, Biophysics, Materials Mechanics, etc.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Tran Trong Dao, President of Ton Duc Thang University said:
“With the spirit of always listening and trying to develop Ton Duc Thang University in the direction of a research university, the school has now also applied research models, research groups and joint research institutes in Ho Chi Minh City.
The opening of the Hanoi Office this time is a meaningful milestone, laying the first foundation brick for Ton Duc Thang University to implement its educational plan and carry out the political tasks assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The opening of the Office of the Advanced Technology Institute of Ton Duc Thang University in Hanoi will expand opportunities for cooperation and connection with businesses, organizations, state agencies and the scientific community in the Northern region. This is an important opportunity for scientists to participate in large-scale research projects, while developing and applying advanced scientific and technological achievements, contributing to promoting the sustainable development of the country.
