In 2026, 23 military schools/facilities will recruit a total of 5,420 university and college quotas for the military system, an increase of more than 1,000 compared to 2025.
Military schools use 4 admission methods: Direct admission and priority admission; considering the capacity assessment results of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; considering the results of the QDA exam of the Ministry of National Defense; and considering high school graduation exam scores.
Border Guard Academy recruits military male candidates. Candidates must pass preliminary selection and meet the criteria for politics, age, culture, and health according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense.
In 2026, the school will use the common admission methods of the military block. The announced combinations include C03, C04 and D01; the military block no longer uses the C00 combination this year.
Previously, the Border Guard Academy had 3 candidates who met the conditions for direct admission according to the announcement of the Military Enrollment Board.
