In 2026, 23 military schools/facilities will recruit a total of 5,420 university and college quotas for the military system, an increase of more than 1,000 compared to 2025.
The Military Science Academy is one of the three military schools enrolling female candidates in 2026. The military system quota of the school decreased by 20 compared to 2025.
In 2025, female candidates majoring in International Relations of the school must achieve 30 points to be admitted, the highest level in the military block with the medical major of the Military Medical Academy.
This year, the military school block uses 4 enrollment methods: Direct admission and priority admission; considering the capacity assessment results of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; considering the results of the QDA exam of the Ministry of National Defense; and considering high school graduation exam scores.
2026 is the first year the Ministry of National Defense organizes the QDA competency assessment exam. The exam takes place from June 19-21 with 6 sessions in three areas: Northern region chaired by the Military Technical Academy, Central region at the Information Officer School (Khanh Hoa), Southern region at Army Officer School 2 (Dong Nai). The exam consists of three parts: Mathematics and data processing; Literature - Language; Science or English.
