This year, Duy Tan University has set the admission quota for the competency assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University.
For the majors of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, candidates must achieve a score of 700 points or more, and have a full 12th grade academic result with a Good grade (Qualified as Good) or a high school graduation score of 8.0 points or higher.
For the Nursing and Medical Testing Technology major, candidates must achieve a total score of 650 points or more, and have a full 12th grade academic result that meets the Grade (Qualified Grade) or a high school graduation score of 6.5 points or higher;
For the remaining majors, the floor score is from 600 points or more;
For the Architecture major, the university does not consider the results of the Competency Assessment exam.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry has also just announced the threshold for accepting admission documents using the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025.
Accordingly, for regular universities in the general program, the threshold for ensuring input quality for all majors with a minimum total score of 650 points (not multiplied by coefficient; not accumulated priority points and not applied to the group of majors in law).
For regular universities with the English-language enhancement program, the threshold for ensuring input quality for all majors with a minimum total score of 600 points is 600 points (not multiplied by coefficient; not accumulated priority points and not applicable to the group of majors in law).
For legal majors, the threshold for ensuring input quality is the minimum total score of 720 points, at the same time the minimum Vietnamese language score is 180 points and the minimum Math score is 180 points.
At Ho Chi Minh City University of Management and Technology (UMT), the threshold for receiving documents for this method is from 15 points on a 30-point scale (equivalent to 600 points on a 1,200-point scale).
At the University of Natural Resources, candidates can submit their application based on the results of the Hanoi National University's Competency Assessment Exam in 2025.
The threshold to ensure input quality must meet the general requirement of the ability assessment test score (excluding priority points, plus points, not multiplied by the main subject coefficient) of not less than 75 points, calculated on a scale of 150 (minimum ≥ 75/150).
Previously, many universities also announced the admission floor score based on the competency assessment test scores and thinking assessment in 2025. Candidates follow in the following table:
