On May 25, Mr. Pham Van Nghiep - Vice Chairman of Phu Quoc City People's Committee (Kien Giang) said that he had heard about the incident of a teacher at Duong Dong Kindergarten, Duong Dong Ward, beating up a deputy head teacher of this school and sending him to the hospital.
"I have only heard about the current incident, and have not yet had a specific report. What is wrong for the police to investigate and clarify will be strictly handled according to the provisions of the law," said Mr. Nghiep.
Regarding the above incident, Ms. N.T.B.T. Deputy Principal of Duong Dong Kindergarten said that she is currently being treated in the hospital after being beaten many times by Ms. L.T.K.D, a teacher at the school.
Ms. T said: On May 24, Duong Dong Kindergarten held a meeting to review and evaluate civil servants at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. During the meeting, Ms. N.T.H - Principal of Duong Dong Kindergarten said that I posted clips of a teacher beating students online. I also confirmed to the principal that I did not do anything and asked the principal to invite Cyber Security to investigate. At that time, Ms. L.T.K.D walked around from behind to threaten to beat me.
Ms. T added: “When I reflected the fact that the principal was threatened by Ms. D, Ms. D ran from afar to kick my body, causing me to fall down the floor. Not stopping, Ms. D continued to kick into the stomach, making me feel very painful. After beating me, the teachers all left. of Ms. L.T.K.D ”.
Duong Dong Ward Police said that when the incident occurred, Ms. T's family filed a complaint against Ms. D's intentional injury, and the police also instructed the family to provide medical records for investigation.
Previously, on March 22, many clips appeared on social networks about the teacher of this kindergarten using a rider to beat students. After that, the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City disciplined the Board of Directors and 4 teachers of this school with a reprimand.
