On March 5, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee announced that it had issued a plan to enroll 10th grade students in the 2026-2027 school year for high schools in the province.
According to the plan, the 10th grade entrance exam will be held in 2 days, June 27 and 28. Specifically, on the morning of June 27, 6 candidates will take the Literature exam, in the afternoon of the same day, they will take the English exam; on the morning of June 28, they will take the Math exam. In the afternoon of June 28, candidates registered to take the exam for specialized schools will continue to take the specialized subject exam.
The candidates are students who have completed the program or graduated from secondary school. High schools in the province implement enrollment according to 2 methods including entrance exams or admission based on academic records.
The enrollment targets of each school will be allocated by the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Education and Training, based on the number of 9th grade students and the actual conditions of each school.
For the entrance exam method, students register to take the exam from the 20th to the 30th. 5. Candidates will take 3 compulsory subjects including Literature, Mathematics and English. Candidates registering to take the exam at specialized schools must participate in an additional specialized subject exam according to regulations.
The exam results are expected to be announced before July 7. After that, schools will conduct admission consideration and complete enrollment work before July 20.
For schools enrolling in the form of admission consideration, candidates register from July 6th to 10th. Admission consideration is carried out from July 10th to 15th, based on the students' learning and training results in 4 years of secondary school and priority regimes according to regulations.
According to the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Education and Training, the 10th grade enrollment work is implemented in a public and transparent direction, strengthening the application of information technology to create favorable conditions for parents and students in the registration process as well as monitoring results.
