Gia Lai recruits 6-818 students for 7 border school districts

Gia Lai - Along with accelerating the progress of completing schools, the province agreed to approve the enrollment target of 6,818 boarding and semi-boarding students.

On August 19, Gia Lai Department of Education and Training had Official Dispatch No. 4786 on adjusting the enrollment quota for boarding and semi-boarding students of 7 Primary and Secondary Boarding Schools for the 2026–2027 school year.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed in principle to adjust the enrollment quota for boarding and semi-boarding students for the 2026–2027 school year. Accordingly, the total enrollment quota after adjustment is 6,818 students.

In which, the quota for boarding students is 2,586 students; the quota for semi-boarding students is 4,232 students.

The province also agreed to let Ia Chia Primary and Secondary Boarding School receive 2 primary school students (Puih Le, a 2nd grade student and Puih Lam, a 4th grade student from families with particularly difficult circumstances to study and enjoy boarding benefits at the school from the 2026-2027 school year.

This is to create favorable conditions for disadvantaged students to have a safe and stable learning and living environment.

The province assigned the Department of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of border communes to guide and direct the principals of 7 Primary and Secondary Boarding Schools to deploy enrollment work, review dossiers, ensure publicity, transparency, correct subjects and in accordance with current regulations.
