The Ministry of Education and Training answers this question as follows:
In mathematics, percentile is a statistical measure used to determine the relative position of a value in an arranged data set, by dividing that data set into 100 equal parts.
This index reflects a percentage of values lower than or equal to a specific value. For example, a candidate achieving a score of 90 means that the candidate's score is higher than or equal to 90% of other candidates.
In admissions, the degree of merit is used as a tool to compare and convert exam scores between different methods, thereby bringing them to the same unified scale. See more...
Announcing the number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam for each subject
On the afternoon of May 6, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the number of candidates registered for the 2026 high school graduation exam by subject.
High school graduation exam candidates will take 4 subjects, including compulsory Math, Literature and 2 elective subjects from Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Informatics, Technology.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, among more than 1.22 million candidates registered for the 2026 high school graduation exam, there are 1,204,180 students taking the Math exam, 1,208,356 students taking the Literature exam. See more...
New textbooks on shelves, parents look for them early
From the 2026 - 2027 school year, the Ministry of Education and Training decided to choose the "Connecting Knowledge with Life" set of Vietnam Education Publishing House as a unified textbook set.
According to Lao Dong's records, at present, many bookstores have begun to prepare a supply of books for the new school year.

Picking up 2 bullets, a group of 7th grade students brought them to the police to hand over.
