On the afternoon of March 16, the Department of Education and Training of Hue City coordinated with the Hue Ancient Citadel Relic Preservation Center to organize a Conference to evaluate heritage education work in the period 2020 - 2025 and sign a coordination agreement on heritage education work in the period 2026 - 2030.
This is an opportunity for management agencies, educational institutions and related units to comprehensively assess the results of the implementation of the heritage education program in the past 5 years; share practical experiences; record effective models; and propose solutions to continue improving the quality of heritage education in the coming time.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tan - Director of Hue City Department of Education and Training said that implementing the 2018 General Education program, the Department has compiled local education content from grades 1 to 12, in which topics about relics, celebrities and Hue folk art account for 30-40% of the time. Up to now, 100% of educational institutions in the area have included this content in their education plans.

According to him, along with the official curriculum, digital transformation in heritage education will be emphasized with digital learning resources, videos, 3D images and the "virtual museum visit" model to help students, especially in remote areas, easily access and learn about Hue cultural heritage.
The Heritage Education Program is implemented on the basis of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation signed on November 23, 2019 between the Department of Education and Training of Hue City and the Hue Ancient Citadel Relic Preservation Center. Among them, there are 25 educational themes, organized in many rich forms, linking learning with practical experiences at relic sites.
