HCMC - A teacher at Tran Van Dang Secondary School was dismissed from the competition and stopped his homeroom work after complaining about inappropriate student management measures.

On December 22, speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Le Thi Thu Suong - Chairman of Tan Hoa Ward People's Committee (HCMC) said that the relevant units had agreed on the handling results for a homeroom teacher at Tran Van Dang Secondary School for requiring the whole class to go to bed at 9pm and wake up at 5am every day.

According to Ms. Suong, the teachers involved will be disrupted from the competition, and their duties as homeroom teachers will be suspended from the second semester and all the money collected from the form of fines must be returned.

Mr. Duong Tan Phuoc - Principal of Tran Van Dang Secondary School said that during the time students review and prepare for the end-of-term test, the school prioritizes stabilizing the psychology of 8/3 students.

At the beginning of the second semester, the school will arrange a new homeroom teacher according to the wishes of parents and students, and continue to review and handle responsibilities for related teachers.

Principal of Tran Van Dang Secondary School further informed that the school had learned from the above incident to all teachers in the school.

Previously, according to parents' feedback, the homeroom teacher of class 8/3 at Tran Van Dang Secondary School (Tan Hoa Ward) asked the whole class to go to bed at 9pm and wake up at 5am every day. The class monitor was assigned the task of assigning students to identify in the early morning through the class's message group.

In addition, this teacher also stipulates a fine for students who are late in submitting their papers and violate school rules, with a fine of 10,000 to 100,000 VND per time. According to parents, there are cases where students have been fined for standing for many consecutive classes for a long time.
