At station 556 Nguyen Van Cu recorded at 6:00 a.m. this morning, the AQI was 179. By 7am, the index increased to 180.

According to the IQAir Air Air Pollution Index Application at 7:30 am this morning, Hanoi is the 5th most polluted city in the world with an AQI of 212 - very unhealthy.

In particular, around the West Lake area, there is a very high pollution index, especially the Quang Khanh AQI 295 measurement point - purple threshold, which is very unhealthy for health.

Experts recommend that when the air quality index reaches the hazardous level (AQI 301 500), people should minimize going out, temporarily stop outdoor activities and switch to indoor activities. Close your doors to avoid contact with pollution. For sensitive groups, the recommendation is even more strict: absolutely do not go out and ensure the indoor environment is airy and safe.

Previously, to proactively control, prevent and minimize the level of pollution and adverse impacts of this pollution, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment requested ministries, corporations and corporations to focus on directing and implementing drastic urgent measures.
