On January 10, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province issued a Plan to implement the School Health Program and School Health Program in preschool and general education institutions associated with grassroots health care.
According to the Plan, the goal is to link school health care with grassroots health care to improve quality and efficiency of operations, ensure good conditions for primary health care, first aid, injury prevention and improve health for preschool children and students.
Issue a coordination mechanism on school health work associated with grassroots health between the Department of Health and the Department of Education and Training to ensure 100% completion of assigned targets according to the Provincial People's Committee's Plan on implementing the "School health program in preschool and general education institutions associated with grassroots health for the period 2022 - 2025" in Hai Duong province.
Hai Duong province strives for 100% of educational institutions to conduct periodic health check-ups for students at the beginning of the school year according to regulations; 100% of educational institutions to conduct early detection assessments of risk factors for non-communicable diseases and mental health for students; 100% of educational institutions to provide sufficient drinking water and clean water for daily life and school activities to ensure quality according to regulations; 100% of educational institutions to have toilets.
Hai Duong province also strives for 100% of educational institutions to organize activities to educate students about proper nutrition, healthy and safe food through regular classes and extracurricular activities; 100% of educational institutions to ensure food hygiene and safety conditions according to regulations; 100% of educational institutions to develop menus to meet the needs according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health on ensuring proper nutrition according to age and food diversity.
