According to a quick report from the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training, the whole city has 57,158 candidates registered to take the 2026 high school graduation exam, of which 1,719 are independent candidates.
During the exam procedure session, correcting information errors (if any) and listening to the dissemination of regulations and exam schedule, 368 candidates were absent. Up to now, 3 candidates have requested special consideration due to accidents or having to undergo surgery before the exam.
This year's exam, Hai Phong arranged 106 exam sites with 2,440 official exam rooms, along with 50 waiting rooms for entering the exam, 88 waiting rooms for leaving the exam and 106 reserve exam rooms. In addition, the city also prepared 3 special exam rooms at the exam sites of Nguyen Binh Khiem High School, Nam Sach High School and Ly Thanh Tong Secondary and High School to serve arising situations.
More than 7,200 officials, civil servants, and public employees were mobilized to participate in the exam supervision work, along with about 1,000 people from the Police, Army, Health, and Electricity forces directly performing the task of coordinating to ensure safety and logistics at the exam sites.
According to the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training, the organization of the exam procedure session took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. No cases of invigilators absent from the exam sites were recorded.
