Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) has just announced enrollment for full-time university programs in 2025.
In 2025, the Academy plans to enroll nearly 7,300 students, including 18 groups of majors in the standard training program according to 4 admission methods: Direct admission and priority admission; Considering high school graduation exam scores; Considering academic records; Combined admission.
In the direct admission and priority admission methods, in addition to the admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training as last year, the academy directly admits groups of excellent students in at least 1 semester and has one of the outstanding achievements in competitions to select excellent students, science and technology competitions for high school students at the provincial and city levels; belonging to the provincial/city level team (under the central government) or the team of specialized high schools under universities participating in the national excellent student selection competition at the high school level or the national science and technology research competition for high school students.
Students who are excellent in at least 1 semester and have one of the following outstanding achievements and results within 2 years up to June 1, 2025: IELTS certificate (from 6.0 or higher), SAT exam (from 1200 points or higher, ACT exam from 25 points or higher); Students who are excellent in at least 2 semesters and have achieved 90 points or higher in the VNUA 2025 Technology Knowledge and Creative Startup exam.
With the 2025 high school graduation exam score method, the admission score is the sum of three subjects according to the combination, in which subject 1 (written first) is multiplied by a coefficient of two.
The sum of the three subjects is converted from a scale of 40 to 30, then priority points are added. Candidates with IELTS from 4.0 or higher can convert to replace the English subject score.
In the method of considering transcripts, the admission score is the average of the entire 12th grade year of three subjects according to the combination, also multiplied by a coefficient and converted like the graduation exam score method. The minimum admission score is from 21-24 points, after being converted to a 30-point scale.
With the combined admission method, candidates can use their 12th grade transcripts with one of the following certificates: IELTS from 5.0, SAT 800, ACT 12, VNUA 2025 Technology Knowledge and Creative Startup from 70 points or higher.
The admission score is the sum of three subjects according to the transcript, in which subject 1 is multiplied by a coefficient of two, along with the certificate score or separate exam results converted to a scale of 10. The condition for the transcript score is to achieve 21-24 points or more, on a scale of 30.
With the combined method of reviewing transcripts and admission, Vietnam National University of Agriculture accepts applications in two batches. The first batch is from May to June 20, 2025; the second batch is from June 25 to July 30, 2025.
Previously, many top universities such as Foreign Trade University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology,... have also announced their enrollment plans. Notably, these schools also offer preferential policies for candidates with IELTS certificates. For details, see HERE.
