From 2025, Hanoi Medical University plans to enroll new majors in Medical Imaging Technology and Social Work. This is a great opportunity for candidates in the context of increasing demand for human resources and attractive incomes from these two majors.
Regarding the admission method, the school basically maintains stability, including direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Hanoi Medical University; considering high school graduation exam scores; considering admission combined with graduation exam scores and international language certificates; considering based on the capacity assessment test scores of Hanoi National University. However, the school's admission combination can be adjusted according to the new circular on university admission regulations.
Meanwhile, without opening any new majors, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine plans to increase the enrollment quota for each major. The highest increase is for Pharmacy, which will be 30%; followed by Traditional Medicine, which will increase by 20%, and Nursing, which will increase by 10%. The other majors will not increase their enrollment quota compared to last year.
Regarding the subject combination for admission, the school will not change. The school also maintains 6 admission methods, specifically: Considering the results of the high school graduation exam; direct admission according to the regulations of the Admission Regulations; using the results of the capacity assessment test, thinking assessment organized by other units for admission; using only international certificates for admission; combining the results of the high school graduation exam with international certificates for admission; using other methods.
Meanwhile, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Hue University) plans to enroll nearly 1,700 students in 2025. Notably, English and Physics are included in the admission combination of some majors.
Block A02 (Math, Physics, Biology) was first used to recruit many majors such as: Preventive Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery... Pharmacy major first recruited block D07 (Math, Chemistry, English).
The school also recruits students based on block B08 (Math, Biology, English) with 4 majors: Medicine, Dentistry, Traditional Medicine, and Medical Imaging Technology.
Regarding admission methods, in 2025, the school plans to have 3 admission methods including: Considering high school graduation exam scores; Considering a combination of high school graduation exam scores and English certificates; Direct admission. In which, combined admission only applies to the majors of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.
In addition, some schools also plan to enroll new majors in the health sector.
Eastern University of Technology plans to open 6 new majors from 2025, including Medicine. Last year, the school opened a new major in Pharmacy.
From this year, Gia Dinh University also plans to open more health majors such as Dentistry, Nursing, and Rehabilitation Technology. Candidates can choose one of three admission methods: Considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; considering the results of the high school transcript (according to the 2025 admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training); considering the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam.
