According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT), the 10th grade benchmark scores for the 2026-2027 school year of public high schools will be announced today (June 30).
The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year in Ho Chi Minh City takes place on June 1-2 with more than 151,000 registered candidates. This is the first year the exam has been organized after Ho Chi Minh City expanded its administrative boundaries on the basis of merging with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
The admission score is calculated by Math score + Literature score + Foreign Language score + priority and encouragement points (if any).
Candidates must take all three subjects, not violate exam regulations and have no exam papers with a score of 0.
After having the results, admitted candidates carry out enrollment confirmation on the 10th grade enrollment system of the Department of Education and Training at ts10. hcm. edu. vn, and submit enrollment documents directly at the admitted high school according to the school's instructions.
According to regulations, students who are admitted but do not confirm enrollment or do not submit applications on time without a valid reason will be considered to have their admission right denied. The admission result will not be preserved and students will not be allowed to participate in subsequent enrollment rounds, including supplementary enrollment in the same school year.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, based on the actual enrollment situation, the Department will consider organizing supplementary admissions if schools still lack quotas. The subjects eligible for supplementary admission are students who have participated in the 10th grade entrance exam but were not admitted to all 3 registered aspirations.
