Implementing universal preschool education for children aged 3 to 5. Prepare conditions for piloting the new preschool education program.
Effectively implement 2 sessions/day teaching instructions for qualified general education institutions according to regulations.
Improve the effectiveness of methods and forms of teaching and assessment to develop students' qualities and abilities; promote and improve the quality of STEM/STEAM education, digital capacity development education, education using artificial intelligence (AI), career guidance education, and orientation for students after junior high school and high school.
Prepare well the conditions to ensure English becomes the second language in schools.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested relevant Departments and branches to review the number of existing teachers, propose to supplement the staffing of teachers in the 2026 - 2030 period to overcome the shortage of teachers, especially implementing the policy of teaching 2 sessions/day for general education.
Strengthen the implementation of the plan to transfer and second teachers from places with surplus to places with shortage, teachers teaching inter-schools in localities to effectively use the existing teaching staff.
This school year, Khanh Hoa also implemented the policy of contracts for singers, artists, and athletes who are good at teaching special subjects such as music, fine arts, physical education, etc. to high school students.
