On the afternoon of May 28, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province said that on the first exam day of the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year, there were 163 absent candidates in Literature, and 171 absent candidates in Mathematics.
According to a quick report from the education sector, there were 2 candidates suspended from the exam for bringing phones into the exam room during the Math exam session. Apart from the above cases, the exam took place stably, with no unusual incidents recorded.
In Literature, many candidates assessed the exam questions as manageable, closely following basic knowledge and suitable for the curriculum. Many candidates are confident that they can get a score of 7 or higher.
Notably, at the exam site of Doan Thi Diem Secondary School (Suoi Dau commune, Khanh Hoa province), a candidate who broke his arm before the exam was arranged by the exam council with teacher support in accordance with regulations to complete the exam.
In the afternoon of the same day, candidates entered the Math subject with the assessment that the exam was highly differentiated.

According to the assessment of many candidates, with 4 exam codes, the basic knowledge part is relatively manageable, but the questions from question 18 onwards are more difficult, serving the goal of classifying students.
For exam code 04, many students believe that the possibility of achieving a score of 7 or higher is quite positive. Question 21 is commented as a question that helps candidates get full points if they have a solid grasp of knowledge.
According to the plan, on May 29, candidates will continue to take the English and specialized subjects.
In which, specialized subjects will be tested in essay form; specialized Informatics subjects will organize computer programming tests.
