Accordingly, the education sector has mobilized 4,459 personnel to serve the exam, including invigilators, supervisors, secretaries, police forces and other support departments to ensure the exam takes place safely and seriously.
On the morning of May 28, candidates took the Literature exam in essay form with a test time of 120 minutes.

According to records, the weather in Khanh Hoa on the morning of May 28 was quite pleasant, cooler than in previous days, so many candidates entered the exam room with a more comfortable mentality.
Before the exam, due to concerns about hot weather and long travel, many parents actively rented rooms near the exam site to facilitate their children's travel and rest.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy (Bac Nha Trang ward) whose child is taking the exam at the Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted exam site said that her family rented a room near the school to limit travel in the hot weather of recent days.
This year, the number of candidates registering for the exam is very large, especially in specialized classes, so every parent is somewhat worried. However, the children are all quite well prepared in terms of knowledge and spirit before the exam," Ms. Thuy shared.
According to the exam schedule, in the afternoon of May 28, candidates will continue to take the Math exam in the form of combining multiple-choice and essay. In the morning of May 29, candidates will take the English exam.
For candidates registering to take the exam at specialized schools, in addition to the common exam subjects, in the afternoon of May 29, they will continue to take the specialized subject in essay form. The specialized subject Informatics will be tested on computer programming.
The Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province said that before the exam, the unit organized professional training for invigilators, inspected facilities and reviewed conditions at the exam site to ensure that the exam took place objectively and in accordance with regulations.
In addition, the whole province has 552 students who are eligible for direct admission to 10th grade high schools in the 2026 - 2027 school year under direct admission consideration.
