According to the department, after the merger of provinces, the secondary school system has many changes, the scale of schools is widely distributed and uneven.
The priority task this school year is to stabilize the organization, reorganize the apparatus and focus on improving the quality of mass teaching.
Therefore, the provincial-level excellent secondary school exam as planned to be issued in early September 2025 will not be implemented.
However, the department still maintains the plan to organize the national excellent student selection exam and train high school teams in the 2025 - 2026 school year.
