Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade said that in 2025, the school will use 5 admission methods. In which, the school accepts converting foreign language certificates into English subject admission scores in method 1 (admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025) or method 2 (admission based on high school academic results of grades 10, 11 and 12).
The time to receive conversion documents is before July 19, 2025.

Ho Chi Minh City Open University announced that it will convert foreign language certificates into foreign language scores to include in the admission subject group as follows:

This school noted that in case candidates have a high school graduation exam score in foreign languages, the admission score will be the highest between the certificate conversion score and the corresponding foreign language exam score.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry announced the conversion of IELTS English certificate from 4.5 to English subject admission scores for the method of considering high school graduation exam scores and considering high school transcripts for grade 12.

According to Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, candidates with an IELTS certificate of 4.5 or higher or equivalent can use it to convert English scores to admit groups with English subjects through the school's scoring conversion system.
The conversion score will be replaced by the average score in English in the academic record or high school English exam score.

Saigon University announced that it will use English certificate results for conversion including: IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, PTE Academic, Linguaskill, Aptis, VSTEP.
Note: The certificate must be issued for no more than 2 years until June 30 and organized by units licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Candidates need to register to convert English entrance exam scores from April 15 to June 30.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry said that the school will use 5 admission methods, of which, for method 3 (admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025) and method 5 (admission based on high school learning results), the school allows candidates to use international English certificate scores (I IELTS or TOEFL ITP) that are still valid until the date the candidate starts registering for admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training to convert to English subject scores.
In which, for IELTS test scores that must be 4.5 or higher, the certified unit includes: British Council (BC) or International Development Program (IDP); TOEFL ITP test scores must be 450 or higher, the unit issuing the Educational Testing Service (TS).
