At about 9:45 a.m. on June 9, on the Ho Chi Minh road (through Km506+100, Cuc Phuong 4 bridge, in Doi village, Thach Lam commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province), a traffic accident occurred between 3 cars.
According to initial information, at that time, a car with license plate 18A-325.63 driven by N.X.V (born in 1996, residing in Nam Van commune, Nam Dinh city, Nam Dinh province) carrying 3 people including: Vu Hoai Thuong (born in 1992, residing in Ha Dong district), Ngo Van Thang (residing in Quoc Oai district), Tran Van Huan (residing in Thach That district, Hanoi city) was traveling in the direction from Hoa Binh to Thanh Hoa.
When arriving at the above location, the car collided with a truck with license plate 29H-515.94 driven by Nguyen Huu Tuan (born in 1991, residing in Thach Quang commune, Thach Thanh district), carrying Quach Van Quan (born in 1995, residing in Thach Tuong commune, Thach Thanh district) traveling in the opposite direction.
After the first collision, the car continued to crash into a truck with license plate 29H-786.00 driven by Dang Van Tu (born in 1980, residing in Quang Phu Cau commune, Ung Hoa district, Hanoi) traveling in the same direction.
As a result, driver N.X.V died on the spot; 5 others were injured including: Vu Hoai Thuong, Ngo Van Thang, Tran Van Huan, Nguyen Huu Tuan and Quach Van Quan. All 3 vehicles were severely damaged.
The incident is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
