On November 26, according to Lao Dong, the Department of Education and Training of Binh Dinh province has just released the results of an inspection of the organization and operation of foreign language centers and foreign language - information technology centers in the province.
Series of violation centers were scored
Through inspection, some centers have not implemented fire prevention and fighting regulations well. Among them, the centers in Quy Nhon City include: Ezone Foreign Language - Information Technology, Ames English, IALC Dynamic International English, Elis Foreign Language, Allan English, Worldbridge Education VietNam International English, Embassy Language and Wise English.
The centers in Tuy Phuoc district include: Rainbow English, Viet My Star Foreign Language, Viet My International Foreign Language - Avis Tuy Phuoc and Wonderland Foreign Language; Phu Phong English Center (Tay Son district) and Tien Phong English (Hoai Nhon town).
Ezone Foreign Language - Information Technology Center, Ames English Center hung signs with incomplete content; Ames English Center, Mercury Foreign Language Center (Tuy Phuoc District) have not reported to the Department of Education and Training about changing teachers compared to the establishment project; Embassy Language Center (Quy Nhon City), Go English Phuoc Son Foreign Language Center (Tuy Phuoc District) have only 1 permanent teacher.
Mercury Foreign Language Center, Vietnam-USA Association English Education Center 55 (Quy Nhon City) do not have the center's seal; Blue Sky English Center (An Nhon Town); Mercury Foreign Language Center has not fulfilled its tax obligations as prescribed.
Ames English Center has classrooms that do not ensure environmental hygiene; An Vien English Center uses "Everybody Up" teaching materials that have not been approved by the Department of Education and Training; Vietnam-USA Society English Education Center 55 enrolls students beyond its permitted capacity.
The Department of Education and Training of Binh Dinh province also discovered a number of individuals illegally teaching English at house number 132 Ham Nghi street (Quy Nhon city), with a signboard "TEA ENGLISH ACADEMY".
Through investigation, it was found that 20 students attended an unauthorized English class at house number 132 Ham Nghi, organized by Nguyen Thi Thanh Tr (main teacher) and Dang Thi Thao Ng (assistant teacher), both of whom are not officials of the education sector.
Request to stop "underground" teaching
Through inspection, the provincial Department of Education and Training found that the organization and operation of foreign language centers and foreign language - information technology centers in the province still have some shortcomings, problems and violations as mentioned above.
The main reason is that the centers have not carefully studied the documents and have not strictly implemented the provisions of the law; do not clearly understand the process and procedures for registering for a license to teach foreign languages; and have not been inspected, reminded, or disciplined by competent authorities.
The Department of Education and Training of Binh Dinh province requests that foreign language centers and foreign language - information technology centers promptly correct shortcomings and report implementation results to the Department of Education and Training within 30 days of receiving the notice.
Request individuals who are organizing English classes at 132 Ham Nghi Street to remove the signboard "TEA ENGLISH ACADEMY" and stop teaching English until they are allowed to operate.
The provincial Department of Education and Training also assigned specialized and professional departments to strengthen inspection and guidance on expertise and profession so that foreign language centers and foreign language - information technology centers in the province can comply with regulations. The Department Inspectorate was assigned to monitor, urge and inspect the implementation of relevant parties.
