On November 26, Mr. Nguyen Huy Phong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Thanh Commune (Krong No District) said that the locality had just unexpectedly rewarded the force that searched all night for the lost girl.
Previously, on the afternoon of November 25, a 2-year-old girl (Dak Luu village, Tan Thanh commune) followed her relatives to pick coffee in the commune.
The girl was left to play in the field while the adults picked coffee nearby. At around 4:30 a.m. the same day, when everyone returned to the field, the girl was nowhere to be found.
After many hours of searching without results, relatives reported to the authorities for support.
Upon receiving the news, Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee mobilized militia, commune police and dozens of people to support the search.
Due to the mountainous terrain, the search for the girl was difficult. At around 11pm the same day, authorities discovered the girl near a stream, nearly 2km from where she had gone astray.
Tan Thanh commune leaders said that although the terrain is complicated, the commune's forces and people have made great efforts to search for the girl.
Fortunately, the girl was found right on the bank of the stream. If there had been a delay, something heartbreaking could have happened.
