Accordingly, the enrollment quota of the academy this year is 390 students. The medical major of the Military system (7720101) is 140 students, of which the North enrolls 91 quotas (83 males, 8 females), the South enrolls 49 quotas (44 males, 5 females). The quota for medical majors to train abroad is 15.
For the civilian system, the enrollment quota of the Military Medical Academy this year is 250, distributed by major as follows:
- Medical major (7720101): 200 targets
- Pharmacy major (7720201): 50 targets

The admission methods to the Military Medical Academy in 2026 are as follows:
Direct admission, priority admission, according to the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of National Defense (with separate notice);
Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of 2 national universities;
Admission based on high school exam results. Admission combinations for Medical major (7720101) are A00, B00, D07; Pharmacy major (7720201) is A00, D07;
Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by the Ministry of National Defense for candidates applying for the Military system who meet the preliminary selection conditions.
The Academy notes that candidates registering for the Military system must pass a preliminary selection. Organize preliminary selection and admission according to the plan and instructions of the Ministry of National Defense. Candidates register for admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Education and Training.
According to the plan, from June 22 - June 30, 2026, the academy will organize direct admission; Complete direct admission and announce results to candidates, update the list of admitted candidates on the System on June 30.
Before July 2, 2026: Update preliminary selection results, capacity assessment for use in the first phase of admission.
Before 5:00 PM on August 13, 2026: announcement of candidates admitted to phase 1.
17:00 on August 21, 2026: Confirmation of online enrollment phase 1 on the System.
From August 22 to December 2026: Supplementary admission (if any).
Last year, the Military Medical Academy had the highest benchmark score of 30 points, applied to female candidates, medical majors, Northern region. As for male candidates in this region, the benchmark score is 27.94.
The benchmark score for Medicine in the Southern region is lower, 27.71 for male candidates and 29.03 for female candidates respectively.
