36. Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education
Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education has just announced enrollment information for 2025.
Accordingly, the school plans to receive applications for early admission from April 1 to May 30, at the address: http://xettuyen.hcmute.edu.vn.
Admission methods include: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; priority is given to candidates from high schools with signed cooperation agreements.
In addition, the school recruits according to the general schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training with 3 methods:
Method 1: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, according to the subject combinations for admission of each major.
Method 2: Admission based on high school transcripts for candidates graduating in 2025, based on the average score of 6 semesters of each subject in the group (there are 3 subjects).
Method 3: Consider candidates based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam.

In 2025, the first batch of students studying under the 2018 General Education Program will take the graduation exam. Therefore, the exam regulations also stipulate transitional provisions for candidates who have completed the general education program before 2025 but have not graduated from high school. Accordingly, these candidates will take the exam according to the old general education program (issued in 2006).
For candidates who have a high school diploma or intermediate diploma and wish to take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam as a basis for admission registration, they can choose to take the exam according to one of two exam topics.
From 2026, the Ministry of Education and Training will organize the high school graduation exam with a single type of exam.
