On July 10, Director of the Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) of Quang Tri province Le Thi Huong informed about the reflection on social networks related to signs of negativity at the Le Truc High School exam site in the 2026 high school graduation exam.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province, implementing the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training, the unit is reviewing the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam in the province.
Currently, the Department of Education and Training is summarizing reports from exam sites, reviewing data and information to report to the Ministry of Education and Training.
Immediately after receiving feedback on signs of negativity at the Le Truc High School exam site, the Department of Education and Training quickly reported the incident, requesting instructions from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Head of the Provincial Exam Steering Committee.
At the same time, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with the Quang Tri Provincial Police and functional agencies to verify information reflected by public opinion.
On the morning of July 10, the Department of Education and Training organized an emergency meeting, establishing a special working group to coordinate with the police agency and functional units.
The working group has the task of advising the Provincial Exam Steering Committee to inspect and review the entire process of organizing exam supervision and exam results at the Le Truc High School exam site.
The Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province said that it will comprehensively and seriously review all stages of the exam at exam sites in the province, especially places with information reflecting or suspecting negativity and cheating in exams.
The Department also proactively coordinated with functional agencies to fully and objectively verify the nature of the case.
According to the Department of Education and Training, if violations are detected during inspection, the unit will handle them according to its authority or request competent authorities to handle them according to the provisions of law.
The Department's point of view is to handle violations as much as possible, not to condone or cover up, and at the same time protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of candidates.
When there are official verification results from the review team and functional agencies, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province will publicly disclose information to public opinion and the press.
Collectives and individuals who commit violations will be disciplined according to regulations. In case there are signs of crime, the file will be transferred to the investigating agency for criminal handling.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, social networks spread information reflecting negativity at the Le Truc High School exam site, in which it was said that some invigilators and members of the exam council had acts of guiding and instructing candidates in the process of doing the test.
Regarding the incident, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province said that it had grasped the information and organized a meeting to inspect and verify the reflected contents.
