On May 2nd, a clip appeared on Facebook recording the scene of a male student being surrounded and beaten by a group of friends wearing uniforms printed with the name of Chuyen Ngoai Secondary School (Duy Tien ward, Ninh Binh province).
In the clip, this group of students used a leather belt to repeatedly hit the victim's head and back and punched and kicked her in the face. Although the beaten male student tried to run away, the group of friends continued to chase after him to continue the assault.
Notably, the incident took place during the day and was witnessed by a large number of other students. However, instead of stopping them, this group cheered, encouraged and used their phones to record the clip.
Regarding the above incident, on the morning of May 3, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training said that the group of students appearing in the clip and the students being beaten were both students at Chuyen Ngoai Secondary School (Duy Tien ward, Ninh Binh province).
The incident happened on April 24, 2026, on the way home from school, when arriving at the Yen Lenh port industrial park area in Tuong Thuy I residential group, Duy Tien ward, Ninh Binh province, an incident occurred where a group of students rushed to beat a friend.
The beaten male student was identified as L.V. D (class 9B, Foreign Language Specialized Secondary School). After the incident occurred, at about 2:15 pm on the same day, this male student's grandfather reported the incident to the school.
According to the school's verification results, it was initially determined that the group of students participating in beating L.V. D, including: L.D. T, V.D.K, L.M. H, V.K. P (class 7C), L.A. T, N.B. D, N.Q. N (class 7B). The students filming the video are N.N.P (class 9A) and P.D. A (class 9B).
For male student L.V. D, after being beaten by his friends, his family took him to Hung Ha Hospital, Hung Yen province for examination and treatment.
The school also requested the students who participated in beating male student L.V. D to write a report, and at the same time requested the homeroom teacher to invite the parents of the students who participated in the fight and filmed a video to come to the school to work.
At the same time, the school has reported the incident to the Duy Tien Ward Police and the Culture - Social Department of Duy Tien Ward for handling measures.
School leaders also directly went to Hung Ha Hospital to visit and encourage male student L.V. D; at the same time, requested families with children participating in beating male student L.V. D to come to encourage and inquire about the health of male student L.V. D.
Currently, the case is still being further verified and clarified by the school in coordination with the Ward Police and the Culture - Social Department of Duy Tien Ward for handling according to regulations.
