On June 1, the People's Committee of Soc Trang province and FPT Corporation jointly held a groundbreaking ceremony for the FPT Soc Trang Inter-level School project.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi - Vice Chairman of Soc Trang Provincial People's Committee - emphasized, educates and develops high quality human resources as one of the important pillars in the province's socio -economic development strategy. The investment in building FPT Inter -level high schools not only contributes to improving the quality of local education but also concretizing the Resolution No. 57 of the Central and the province on scientific and technological development and digital transformation in the education sector.
The project is built on an area of nearly 15,700 m2, of which the construction area is over 5,300 m2, with blocks of houses with a maximum height of 4 floors, the total construction floor area is about 17,800 m2.
It is expected that FPT Soc Trang Inter-level School will start enrolling students from the 2025 - 2026 school year, with a scale of about 2,160 students for all three levels: Primary, Secondary and High School, under the form of boarding training.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - General Director of FPT Corporation said that the FPT Soc Trang Inter-level School Project will be the foundation for training the generation of " engineers 57" - those who can master technology, meeting the requirements of international integration.
