According to the family, after N was beaten, the locality and the family took her to Tran De Medical Center for a health check.

Through examination, X-ray, and ultrasound, the doctor determined that N had soft tissue damage and needed to be hospitalized for monitoring. After that, N was transferred to Soc Trang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital. Up to now, his health has stabilized, the doctor prescribes daily medication and arranges a check-up or go to the hospital as soon as there are signs of abnormality.

According to the diagnosis of the discharge paper of Soc Trang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, N suffered from far away damage to the scalp; endoscopic damage; abdominal cramps; acute, non-classified respiratory infections; thoracic cramps.

Mr. Nguyen Khanh Hoa (45 years old), N's father, said that his family's circumstances were difficult, and N did not have health insurance. The cost of treatment in the past week was mainly due to the support of relatives and friends. Previously, the People's Committee of Tran De commune also supported 2 million VND. In addition to medicine and hospital fees, he and his daughter spend about 200,000 VND per day on food.

Mr. Hoa works at sea, only comes to shore once every 15 days, his income depends on the output of the exploitation, sometimes more than 3 million VND/month but sometimes only 1 - 2 million VND. N's mother used to work as a shrimp dredger, but since she was pregnant (4 months) and had poor health, she quit her job. The family is living in a rented house, has money and eats more than 1 million VND/month.

Mr. Hoa said that N was his wife's only child but he loved her like his own child. "Since the child was beaten, the families of the parties involved have not visited or provided financial support. Currently, my child's health is fine, but he is still mentally scared and does not sleep well. We hope the authorities will handle the case soon to protect N, because her child is still young, the family is afraid that she will be assaulted again," Mr. Hoa expressed.

Ms. Truong Thi Ngo - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran De Commune (Can Tho City) - said that N's family situation is a difficult one in the locality. On the day of the incident, the People's Committee of the commune visited, encouraged, took the child to a medical facility for a health check and supported him with 2 million VND. "Today, N was discharged from the hospital and returned home, we visited, supported 2 million VND and gave 3 health insurance cards to N's mother and sister," said Ms. Ngo.

The leader of Tran De Commune Police said that he had verified the incident, was consolidating the case file and waiting for instructions from Can Tho City Police.

Previously, as Lao Dong reported, a video appeared on social media recording a group of women rushing in to beat another woman. Not only screaming and cursing, groups of about 3 - 4 people took turns using their hands to beat and kick the woman. Despite this person crying and falling, the group continued to assault them. Among them, a woman also used a helmet to hit the victim.

On the afternoon of August 7, the People's Committee of Tran De commune sent a report to the People's Committee of Can Tho city about the case of a girl in this commune being beaten by a group. Through verification, the incident occurred at around 2:00 p.m. on August 6 near the high-speed wharf in Dau Giong hamlet, Tran De commune.

Tran De Commune Police went to the scene, met with witnesses and went to N's house to take initial statements. After verification, the cause of the incident was due to an immediate personal conflict, so N was stopped and beaten by the above group.
