HCMC - On August 14, social networks spread a clip recording the scene of many 20-liter water bottles falling from the upper floors of an apartment building, endangering people.

Initially, it was determined that the incident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. the same day, at an apartment building on Nguyen Huu Canh Street (Thanh My Tay Ward). At that time, people started to go into the area to work.

According to the image in the clip, water bottles continuously fell from above, hitting the road, causing a loud noise and splashing water. Some residents, including the building's security guards, had to shout and warn passersby to stay away from the danger zone.

The authorities of Thanh My Tay ward identified the person who threw the water bottles as Mr. L.Q.H (born in 2003), living on the 26th floor of the apartment building. Mr. H was determined to have signs of depression, autism and anxiety disorder.

At the time of the incident, this young man suddenly threw 3 large bottles of water to the ground from the balcony of the apartment. Fortunately, the water bottles did not fall on passersby.

However, this behavior makes residents here extremely worried, especially those who regularly move in the apartment complex.

Immediately after the incident, the local authorities and the apartment management board coordinated to handle the matter.

The authorities worked with the apartment management board, asking the apartment owner to sign a commitment to take the young man to the apartment for treatment, not to let the incident happen again.
