Results after efforts
The moment she received the exam results , Ngoc Mai could not hide her joy and happiness. "I just think I'm one of the students who gets high scores in class, but I don't think I'm one of the valedictorians in block C nationwide" - Ngoc Mai shared.
During practice tests, my total score in 3 subjects usually ranges from 28.5 to 29 points. However, in the last practice test, my total score was much lower than the previous times. Mai said: "At that time, I was a bit "shocked" because my score was lower near the exam, but instead of being sad, I took it as experience and tried harder for the official exam."
The female student said she used to have difficulty studying literature. But thanks to the support from her cousin and her own efforts, gradually this subject is no longer an obstacle for Ngoc Mai.
“Of the 3 exam subjects in block C , I am most afraid of Literature. Because in the past, I used to learn literature by heart, so I found it very difficult. But my cousin helped, urged, and guided me in effective study methods. The night before the exam, I crossed out the main ideas and reviewed them again to be more confident" - Ngoc Mai shared.
Desire to become a new student majoring in Law
During the exam preparation process, Mai always reminds herself not to be subjective. I always take the time to learn basic knowledge in class and review the parts I don't understand when I get home.
Relatives always accompany and stand side by side with Ngoc Mai during the exam preparation process and the moment she learned the good news of being the valedictorian. “My aunts, uncles, and relatives have sent me many congratulations and meaningful gifts. That motivates me to continue trying in the future" - Mai said.
Sharing with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mai said she wants to become a new student majoring in Law.
“At first, when they learned about my wishes, my parents did not agree. After a while, they felt my determination, and it was my parents who encouraged me to try" - Ngoc Mai shared.
