According to the initial enrollment plan of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, schools implementing advanced models, international integration; integrated English program according to Project 5695; strengthening French and some other specific models will simultaneously announce enrollment results from June 16.
Parents can look up the results on the first-level enrollment portal of Ho Chi Minh City using the student's identification code.
Those who are admitted need to carry out enrollment confirmation on the system, and complete procedures according to the instructions of each school.
According to the enrollment regulations for the 2026-2027 school year, parents are allowed to register their aspirations in both general schools and specialized schools in parallel. Therefore, students who are not admitted to specialized schools or classes are still guaranteed places at general public schools according to the initial registration information.
The specialized school group includes advanced, internationally integrated schools; integrated English program; enhanced French; Nam Sai Gon School and Luong The Vinh School. These schools apply separate enrollment criteria and parents must proactively register their aspirations.
According to the plan, the next enrollment phase will take place from June 24 to July 10. During this time, the Department of Education and Training transfers the data of candidates who have submitted applications to localities to serve the review and allocation of students in accordance with reality.
From July 11 to 5 pm on July 20, parents confirm online enrollment and submit applications according to allocation.
After the official enrollment period ends, the units report to the commune-level People's Committee on the number of candidates who have submitted applications. Based on actual data, the local Enrollment Steering Committee develops additional enrollment plans (if necessary) for schools that are still short of targets and sends them to the Department of Education and Training for coordination and implementation on the system.
The local enrollment steering committee must comprehensively review the enrollment situation, identify cases that have not been allocated to the school; clarify the causes, summarize and report in detail the arising issues to the Department of Education and Training (Quality Management Department) before the opening ceremony, in order to ensure the learning rights of students.
