Parents use the student's personal identification code to register for admission on the Ho Chi Minh City entrance exam portal: https://tuyensinhdaucap. hcm. edu. vn.

According to the plan of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the online enrollment registration period takes place from May 27 to the end of June 7. During this time, parents need to access the system to select wards and communes to register and accurately identify students' enrollment targets.
In which, subject 1 is students with current residence in the area. Subject 2 includes the remaining cases according to regulations and is considered priority according to many criteria.
Specifically, students who have attended preschool or elementary school in the area or border area will be prioritized first. Next are students whose siblings are studying at schools in the area. In addition, students whose parents work at agencies, industrial parks, export processing zones, high-tech zones or industrial clusters in the area are also prioritized.
The last group is students residing in adjacent areas or transferred from other provinces and cities after the time of enrollment registration.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, correctly identifying enrollment subjects is an important basis for implementing zoning. Therefore, parents of subject 2 need to closely monitor the local enrollment plan and prepare complete supporting documents to update to the system.
In this year's enrollment, parents are allowed to register for two types of schools in parallel, including mass schools and specialized schools.
For general schools, the system will implement automatic zoning based on the current location that has been verified and geographical boundaries, to ensure that students have a place to study as close to home as possible.
Meanwhile, the specialized school group includes advanced, integrated schools; integrated English program according to Project 5695; enhanced French; along with Nam Sai Gon School and Luong The Vinh School.
Specialized schools have their own admission criteria, so parents need to proactively learn carefully about admission conditions, quotas and admission methods before registering their aspirations.
From June 8th to 5:00 PM on June 15th, the commune-level enrollment steering committee and specialized schools will announce the review results and update data to the city's enrollment portal.
Students who are not admitted to specialized schools are still arranged to general schools according to the area they initially registered.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training also reminded parents not to register immediately on the first day of opening the admission gateway, because a large amount of access at the same time can lead to system congestion.
The results of the first-grade enrollment are expected to be announced simultaneously on July 10.
