The new location of Truong THCS Truong Dinh Point is the old campus of Truong THPT Dan toc noi tru province Quang Ninh. All teachers and students of this school will transfer to teach and study at the old campus of Da Nang University of Technology.
The project will build new construction items: a theoretical learning house and a specialized subject house for the entire school, a multi-purpose house, an administrative office, a parking lot; and auxiliary construction items, greenery, technical infrastructure, fire prevention and fighting… The total investment is expected to be around 159.6 billion dong, from the public investment budget of the city.
The construction project is expected to be completed on the opening day of the new school year 2025-2026.
The architecture of the new Truong THCS Truong Dinh Point is completely different from the existing and ongoing school construction projects in Quang Ninh province as it does not follow the common model.
Truong THCS Truong Dinh Point, TP. Ha Long is considered the top middle school in Quang Ninh province in terms of teaching and learning quality. This is also the first public school in Quang Ninh to plan to apply a tuition fee of nearly 1 million dong per month per student.
In the 2023-2024 school year, Truong THCS Truong Dinh Point had a self-management rate of 31% (73 people working; of which 48 people received salaries from the budget; 25 people received salaries from non-business income). Based on the directive document of the Central Committee, of Quang Ninh province, in the 2024-2025 school year, Ha Long city plans to self-manage 100% of the regular expenditure budget for Truong THCS Truong Dinh Point.
According to the economic and technical norms, including personnel costs, professional costs, and costs for setting up funds..., the tuition fee of the school will be 960,000 dong per month per student.
Truong THCS Truong Dinh Point is a school that always has a very competitive entrance exam due to the quality and reputation of the school and is also the only middle school in Ha Long to organize an entrance exam, selecting students from all wards and communes of the city. This school has a high rate of students registering for admission, increasing one class every year - also one of the reasons for the shortage of teachers.
To address this issue, in addition to other plans, the plan to manage regular expenditure also helps schools to actively recruit teachers.
